Whether you are about to graduate High School, college, or just celebrating YOU, it would be an absolute honor to work with you and help document and preserve this moment. I'm so happy you've found yourself here and am so excited to share all about the process of booking a session with me!
Investing in a photographer is not only about the images we'll create, it's also about the beautiful memories you'll make, the family heirlooms that will be shared with family, friends, and even new generations to come. My hope is that in five, ten, twenty years you'll look back at your images and they'll help you relive this special time in your life over and over again.

You're doing it friends! The first step is to reach out and request all the information you need to see if I might be the right photographer for you!

Connection is at the heart of MPP and so I love chatting with my clients over the phone prior to booking to hear all about you and your vision for your session!
Then this
Once we chat about your vision for your session and settle on a date, I'll send over your booking proposal and portrait contract and we make things official!

To start, we'll have a consultation via phone to chat about your session!
I want to hear all about you and what occasion you are celebrating! To officially book your session, simply choose one of the two collections. A $100 Retainer Fee is due along with a signed Portrait Contract.
One
BOOKING
After your retainer is paid, the remainder is due one week prior to your session.
Your retainer fee is non-refundable, however you may transfer your date once without any additional rescheduling fees. All payments are made online via your Client Portal where you can easily find all our emails, your forms, and your invoice in one place.

PAYMENTS
During our initial consultation we'll chat about your vision for your session and talk through some ideas!
Once we're official, I'll also send you a Portrait Questionnaire to fill out so that I can get to know you even better as well as a Portrait Session Guide! Together we will plan and style the session of your dreams going over everything from color palette, styling, locations, and more!

My style is romantic, airy, and relaxed. I will guide you through natural posing that captures ...
...your personality and that allows your personal style to truly shine through in your images. I prefer to "direct" my client and will guide you through poses that allow you to just be YOU! I want you to come away from your session with new fun memories and a new confidence in yourself (not just beautiful pictures)!
Four
YOUR SESSION DAY
Your images will be delivered via an Online Gallery where you can easily view and download your images.
Your gallery will be active for six months. You can also order prints and canvases directly through your gallery. If you want to order a custom Keepsake Album after your session we will have a separate design meeting to go over specifics as well as cost. I absolutely adore when clients allow their photos to live outside a screen! :)

It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but Melissa’s photos left us speechless. Hi friend, I'm Melissa and it's so lovely to meet you. I'm a fine art wedding photographer, wife, mother, and Jane Austen nerd. I live for traveling (preferably somewhere warm and by the sea), storytelling, and capturing sweet stories like yours.

What is your background in photography?
I studied photography at the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated with my BFA in 2012. Shortly after I started my business in my hometown of Coral Springs, FL. Over the past 8 years I have served over 350 wonderful clients.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the retainer to secure my date?
A 50% retainer is required to secure your date on my calendar. This fee is non-refundable.
Do you travel and what are your travel fees?
I happily travel for weddings and sessions. For South Florida and sessions under 50 miles from Deerfield Beach I do not charge any additional travel fees. If you are inquiring about an out of state session reach out for a custom travel quote! Cost varies based upon location.
Do you still offer your Senior Spokesmodel Program?
Unfortunately I am no longer hosting my Senior Spokesmodel Program due to my wedding schedule.
Yay!!! I would love nothing more than to work with you and create beautiful images for you. All you have to do is simply email//text me to setup our consultation to discuss all the details and set a date! It's as easy at that! I simply cannot wait to hear from you!
Will you help me with locations, styling, and posing?
Absolutely! You tell me what your vision is and I will help bring it all to life for you! After booking you'll receive my digital Portrait Magazine with styling tips, locations, hair and makeup artists, and so much more to help you prepare!
How long until I receive my images?
I always send a sneak peek within 48 hours of a session. Your full gallery will be ready within 2-3 weeks.
How many images will I receive in my gallery?
I'm ready to book/schedule a consultaion! What next?
That depends on whether you choose the Classic or Luxe session but on average you'll receive between 50-100 final retouched images. You will have the choice between downloading high-resolution JPEGs or web-sized for sharing on social media.
